John Nita
John Nita is president of Emerson in Europe. He manages business strategy, sales and automation software and technologies portfolio growth to help industrial manufacturers optimize operations and reach sustainability targets.
Throughout his 22-year career with Emerson, Nita has worked across three continents and five countries with roles including vice president of projects and services for the process system and solutions business in Asia-Pacific and vice president for sales and technology with Emerson’s life sciences and lifecycle services. Nita’s expertise spans across the chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas and refining industries.
Prior to joining Emerson, Nita was an operations manager and project engineer, responsible for a variety of chemical plant operations projects with Velsicol Chemical until 2002.
Nita earned a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology along with certificates in economics and pulp and paper. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
