Spartan Controls implemented the Fisher™ easy‑Drive® electric actuator to replace gas‑driven pneumatic actuators at the wellhead. The electric actuator delivers reliable, precise control without venting product to atmosphere, eliminating methane emissions at the source.
The easy‑Drive actuator connects to existing Modbus networks, allowing operators to remotely monitor actuator health and performance in real time—reducing the need for site visits. The actuator can be factory‑coupled to D3 and D4 valves for optimized field performance or independently mounted for broader valve compatibility. An optional RPU‑100 reserve power unit ensures the actuator moves to a known safe position in the event of power loss.
