Overview
This full day course will cover Pressure Relief Valve design fundamentals, common terminology , applicable codes and standards that are commonly used in North America.
Using Emersons PRV2 sizing software we will take a detailed look at typical industry relief scenarios, examine causes of overpressure as well as how variables such as backpressure can affect valve selection.
At the end of the course you should have a good understanding of how process media affects if size of a relief valve and the strength and weaknesses of each PRV design type.
