Spartan Controls Ltd. Empowers International Petroleum Corporation's Energy Vision with Cutting-Edge Boiler Solutions for Enhanced Efficiency and Sustainability

August 24, 2023 - Spartan Controls has been selected by International Petroleum Corporation (IPC) to supply a total of four 330,000 lb./hr. Rentech boilers and two 58 MW Rentech Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs). These units, known for their reliability, sustainability, and emissions reduction capabilities, will incorporate Spartan’s fuel trains, FlameVueTM Burner Management System (BMS) panels, assembly, enhanced start-up, commissioning, and optimization services.
 
This achievement marks a significant milestone for Spartan and highlights their expertise in delivering comprehensive and innovative solutions within the boiler industry. Guided by an unwavering commitment to excellence, they are poised to make a substantial contribution to the success of this project.
 

Key Highlights:

  1. Cutting-Edge Technology:  The Rentech Boilers and Heat Recovery Steam Generators stand at the forefront of technological advancement. Boasting advanced features, exceptional efficiency, and reliability, they are designed to meet the highest industry standards for NOx and greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction while providing optimal performance                                                                                                                                              
  2. Fuel Train Systems: Spartan is set to deploy pre-instrumented fuel train systems that ensure a seamless fuel flow from storage to combustion. These systems are meticulously engineered to maximize efficiency, reduce emissions, and enhance overall safety                                                                                                                                                             
  3.  State-of-the-Art BMS FlameVueTM: To further improve the operation, emissions reduction, and safety of the boilers, Spartan will integrate a cutting-edge BMS. This system will provide advanced control strategies and diagnostic monitoring capabilities enabling IPC to maintain precise control over their combustion process
