Spartan Controls' Response To COVID-19

April 5, 2020

CALGARY, ALBERTA  The last few weeks have demonstrated an unprecedented level of volatility as the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds along with a significant impact to the market. At Spartan Controls, we are working closely with our factories to minimize supply disruptions while maintaining the priority of the safety of our employees and customers. As a valued customer, we are committed to supporting your needs during these uncertain times, ensuring the safe and reliable operations of your assets and continued progression of your important projects.

As a local automation product and service provider, we recognize the important role that we have to support your operations with equipment, technical support and services, located both on your sites and remotely. We have invested in significant capabilities to support your assets remotely where travel or direct on-site support is not possible, which will be a key enabler as travel restrictions take hold. We are also actively connected with your facility and able to align with your site protocols.

We are currently implementing our action plan specific to the COVID-19 outbreak which includes minimizing travel, mandatory isolation for returned international travelers and the increased use of technology for communication/collaboration where possible. We will continue to monitor developments, take guidance from public health authorities and make necessary adjustments to our action. We will provide further communications to you as the conditions change and we adapt.

At this time, no Spartan Controls employees have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus. Our thoughts are with those who are currently in isolation or are unwell from this virus.

Thank you for your continued trust in Spartan Controls, our business partners and our people. Please contact us for any support requirements you may have.

Sincerely,

Grant Wilde
President & CEO
Spartan Controls Ltd.
