Greenhouse Gas Reduction

Much of the GHG emissions in the conventional oil and gas industry are produced during the combustion of fuel in natural gas engines and through venting, flaring and fugitive sources. By 2025, the Canadian and US governments have agreed to cut methane emissions by 40-45% from levels recorded in 2012, with routine flaring to be halted by 2030. Effective management of energy, emissions and environmental performance are critical in driving costs down and meeting regulatory compliance requirements.

Low bleed and no bleed instrumentation, ultra low power chemical injection, and application of advanced control solutions in the oil sands, upstream oil and gas and other process industries are used to reduce energy and emissions, while improving operational efficiency and reliability.

The REMVue® AFR 500 is an advanced single system engine/compressor control and monitoring system capable of air-fuel control and optimization, on-line diagnostics and safety shutdown control. It can be configured as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with other hardware/software systems.

SlipStream® is a proprietary, patented technology that utilizes vented hydrocarbons, that would otherwise be lost to the atmosphere, as a supplementary fuel source for natural gas engines. SlipStream®
technology monitors and controls the addition of these vented hydrocarbons to ensure safe and reliable engine operation.
LCO Technologies CROSSFIRE

The LCO CROSSFIRE is an ultra-low power, high efficiency chemical injection pump which reduces venting of methane from pneumatic-driven pumps. The device can be configured for one to four 1-4 fluid ends allowing it to replace up to four pneumatic chemical injection pumps with one unit, reducing your carbon footprint. It is a highly customizable unit with a robust controller and intuitive interface which allows for easy field integration and implementation.
