Eric Williams
Eric Williams is Director of Intelligent Operations at TransAlta, where he leads the advancement of data-driven performance, asset optimization, and digital innovation across generation assets. With a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, Eric brings over two decades of experience spanning plant operations, reliability, and performance engineering. He has held leadership roles at Atura Power and Ontario Power Generation, including Plant Manager of a 562 MW combined cycle facility. Known for bridging engineering depth with operational execution, Eric focuses on leveraging analytics, testing, and intelligent systems to improve reliability, efficiency, and long-term asset performance.
