Education
Spartan provides support to post-secondary engineering and technology education institutions in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan through monetary donations, equipment donations, and student bursaries as well as hosting student evenings in many of our facilities.

United Way
As a responsible business leader, Spartan supports United Way campaigns across the locations where Spartans live and/or work.  Individual Spartans are invited to volunteer and/or donate to a Spartan United way campaign and Spartan provides a corporate donation to each Spartan campaign.

From time to time, Spartan provides support for project-focused requests from charities that both align with Spartan’s charitable donations philosophy and provide local support in all or most of the provinces Spartan operates.

Location-Focused Support
Building strong communities isn’t just about donations – it’s about making a difference through volunteer efforts. All Spartan locations are encouraged to select a local registered charity that aligns with Spartan’s charitable donations philosophy and includes the opportunity to get involved through Spartan volunteering.

Executive Skins
Spartan provides support to registered charities through participation in an annual Executive Skins golf tournament. This event is attended by executives from all industries represented by Spartan.  Each year, specific charities are selected for funding.

Spartans are encouraged to get involved with their communities to raise money or volunteer with registered charities that may or may not necessarily fit with Spartan’s donation philosophy. Spartan matches donations raised from Spartans for such initiatives.

Location Donations
Spartan has Charitable Donations Teams in each Spartan location that are responsible for decisions regarding local charities we choose to support. Charities that align with Spartan’s charitable donation philosophy are given priority, however, other local registered charities are also considered.
Senior Leadership Team DonationsSpartan’s Senior Leadership Team also get into the action through volunteering and donation to registered charities or charity events in the local community.
