Extension spindles allow the remote opening and closing of valves when located below ground or in a pit.

This extension system allows remote actuation of knife gate valves in all sizes and provides a simple economical system with flexibility of design.
Standard units are 304 S/S. Other materials available on request.
Handwheel, bevel gearbox, electric & cylinder actuator can be remotely fitted subject to size/weight/torque constraints.
Long extension requirements need to be designed to suit each specific application.
Suits all valve sizes to DN 600.
When ordering your extensions specify the required length (ZZZ) from the valve centreline to the top of the handwheel.
Extensions are not free standing and must be supported. We recommend fitting wall brackets every 3 metres.
Extensions are available with accessories such as wall brackets and universal joints and can be fitted with a F406 spindle cap instead of a handwheel.
