Presenter: Sarah Calhoun | Rosemount
The Rosemount QX1000 provides optimum selectivity, accuracy, and reliability for use in cold-dry CEMS, DeNOx, and CCUS applications. It offers a simplified way to measure NOx, CO₂, and O₂ in a single device, using laser spectroscopy and paramagnetic gas analysis.
Presenter: Angela Laird | Emerson
Overpressure protection is considered the last line of defence against the potential catastrophic failure of pressure equipment. Relief valves are a critical part of a plant’s operational capability, yet they are often overlooked. This presentation will cover common failures typically seen in pressure relief applications, as well as highlight installation issues that can lead to decreased reliability.
Presenter: Christopher Viramontes | Fluenta
An overview of new products launching in 2026 for flare measurement applications. Discover new developments in CO₂ flare monitoring and emissions monitoring.
Presenter: Tony Ashton | Fike
Traditional manufacturing processes, such as scoring or coining, have the potential to create microscopic mechanical damage that can result in a loss of burst tolerance, ultimately limiting the maximum safe operating pressure of a system. Fike’s proprietary G2 manufacturing technology produces reverse-acting rupture discs with the best operating ratios, burst tolerances, and cycle life available. This session will explore the benefits and limitations of rupture disc technology compared to pressure relief devices, as well as when it makes sense to consider the G2 manufacturing process.
Presenter: Jesse Layton | Spartan Controls
This session provides an overview of Coriolis flow measurement and the challenges introduced by multiphase flow. It will examine sources of measurement error, along with practical strategies to minimize their impact through proper meter selection, sizing, and installation. Micro Motion’s Advanced Phase Measurement (APM) software, configuration, and application limits are also outlined, demonstrating how accurate measurement can be maintained.
Presenter: Nathan Krannovsky | Fisher
The FIELDVUE DPC2K provides intelligent, standalone control at the valve by combining PID control, process measurement, and pneumatic output into a single digital platform. It is used to modernise legacy control schemes, reduce infrastructure complexity, and enable data‑driven operation across both pneumatic and electric valve applications.
Presenter: Steve McLeod & Cody Miller | Spartan Controls
This session highlights key SpartanPRO™ FB3000 applications, including the NOC (Net Oil Computer) for emulsion measurement; TUS (Single Riser Truck Unload System); surge relief using nitrogen control for pipeline surge relief valves; and MultiViscosity measurement for pipeline diluent blending.
Presenter: Maarten Elferink | Etalim
Learn about TA’s, your Thermo-Acoustic Assistants today.  The new Canadian technology by Etalim, the 1GEN is a TA where heat and sound waves provide next-generation, cost-effective, and reliable remote power. Waste gas is captured and combusted to power electrified assets, helping organizations achieve methane venting compliance.
Presenter: Jordan Briere | Spartan Controls
This session highlights how a structured reliability programme for motor‑operated valves can reduce functional failures and improve asset availability. Key elements include failure mode identification, baseline performance metrics, diagnostic testing, and condition‑based maintenance. Common failure mechanisms and mitigation strategies are discussed, with practical examples illustrating how a focused reliability programme can reduce unplanned outages, extend equipment life, and support risk‑informed maintenance decisions.
Presenter: Jesse Saastamoinen | Arcteq
This seminar compares active arc flash quenching technology with traditional arc‑resistant construction for MCCs and switchgear. It will highlight how the Arcteq Arc Flash Protection and Quenching System rapidly extinguishes arc faults to dramatically reduce incident energy, equipment damage, and downtime, often beyond what arc‑resistant enclosures alone can achieve, while enabling safer operation, easier retrofits, and lower lifecycle costs.

Presenter: Bennett Reusch | Spartan Controls
The Rosemount 4051S Pressure and 3144S Temperature transmitters set a new industry benchmark for performance, diagnostics, and measurement stability. This session will explore how these innovations can be used by operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve safety, reduce costs, and increase throughput and revenue.
Presenter: Tim Dwyer | Emerson
Steam is not only a utility but also a critical process ingredient. The industrial steam loop delivers value through effective heat transfer and is defined by best engineering practices in pressure and temperature control, efficient heat‑transfer design, and rapid recovery of heat from condensate and process streams. This presentation introduces these concepts and illustrates, through demonstrations, how energy is controlled, transferred, managed, and reused within the steam and condensate loop across a range of industrial applications.
Presenter: Sukhraj Boparai | Spartan Controls
Level measurement using guided‑wave or non‑contacting radar is a reliable and widely used approach across many industrial applications. Care must be taken during installation to ensure optimal performance and long‑term reliability. This session will explain how to configure and set up a radar level measurement instrument using Emerson Radar Master software, along with new wireless Bluetooth tools.
