Water Cut Analyzers Addition

Spartan strives to provide best-in-class service to our customers. We are driven to help improve your processes and save money with our superior products and services.

Our truck unloading specialists will help you to realize the full benefits of a newly purchased water cut analyzer and our certified, factory-trained technicians will ensure optimum water cut performance and reliability.

During startup the following can be expected:

  • Verification of the correct installation and wiring of the probe, pipe section and electronics
  • Configuration of all device parameters, I/O, communication settings and product displays
  • Provide on-site algorithm assistance for external density compensation
  • Perform water cut calibration procedures
  • On-the-job training for site operation or field technician personnel

The following must be completed prior to startup:

  • All devices securely installed and piping in place as per standard industry practices
  • Power, signal and transmitter to sensor wiring connected. Devices should be powered or ready to be powered.
  • All operational data required including communication and I/O settings must be provided in a timely fashion
  • Oil must be available to be flowed through the Drexelbrook or Phase Dynamics. A centrifuge will be required on-site to perform the water cut calibrations.
  • If internal density compensation is to be performed, then the densitomer’s output must be appropriately tested for accuracy and wired to the Phase Dynamics input.
  • If external density compensation is to be performed, then the Spartan Controls patented algorithms will be provided to the customer prior to the visit. The customer must implement the calculations into the HOST performing the compensation.

On-the-job training will consist of explanations while the customer witnesses the startup. If time permits, the specialist can provide a basic talk on meter fundamentals.
