Synopsis
This four-day course covers the hardware components that make up the DeltaV system. Through a combination of lecture and workshops, the student will assemble the system, power up the Controller, I/O subsystem and workstation. The student will learn how to use the diagnostic tools available to verify any fault conditions that are hardware related. Students will also be introduced to configuration tools and the operator interface.
Who Should Attend
This course is for those responsible for hardware and troubleshooting the DeltaV Control Network, Controllers, I/O subsystem and Workstation interface. This course is recommended for configuration engineers prior to configuration classes.
For students with systems that include bus technologies, courses 7030, 7032 or 7034 are recommended.
