| To help eliminate compressor equipment shutdowns, STERLING Valve Automation has applied Bettis DC voltage electric actuators to control natural gas compressor heat exchanger louvers. Using a PID loop from the local compressor control panel, the Bettis electric actuators accurately position the louvers to prevent process temperature shutdowns during ambient temperature fluctuations. Problems due to pneumatic control freeze-up and fuel gas consumption are eliminated by using the Bettis DC voltage electric actuator. |
