The DVC6000 is now available as certified by CSA as a Natural Gas Certified Unit and will be labeled “single seal device natural gas approved”.   This allows it to be used with natural gas supply medium and comply with the February 2007 variance to the CEC in Alberta as a single seal device. 

The DVC6000 unit has been used safely and effectively for years in natural gas applications. In the past two years, approval agencies have sought to eliminate the possibility of an unexpected exposure at junction boxes / marshalling cabinets when natural gas migrates through the conduit.

Changes were made to the terminal box assembly to create a Single Seal Device certified by CSA to ANSI/ISA 12.27.01. This new terminal box assembly will be standard on the low bleed and extreme temperature DVC’s.
