O'Brien CAPPAKTM Pre-traced Capillaries can provide significant improvements in measurement performance and reliability versus field tracing and insulating (PAT. PENDING).

Bringing you these advantages:

  1. Predictable year-round performance provides improved temperature stability vs. field solution
  2. Protects capillary from damage and excessive bending at critical junction with seal and transmitter
  3. Water-proof outer jacket ensures all components are kept dry and free from mechanical damage during routing and final hook-ups

Types of Pre-Traced Capillaries:

  1. Insulated Solution Minimizes Drift:
  • Guaranteed maximum temperature shift on capillary of 30°C over an 80° ambient shift
    • At -40°C ambient temperature of the capillary will be greater than 30°C
    • +40°C the temperature of the capillary will be less than 60°C
  • No external temperature control required
  1. Uninsulated Solution Reduces Sluggish Response:
  • Guaranteed maximum temperature shift on capillary of 48°C over a 80° ambient shift
    • Maintain capillary temperature above 6°C at - 40°C ambient
    • Capillary will not exceed 50°C at +40°C ambient
  • No external temperature control required
  1. SensorTube™(PAT. PENDING) with Heatpak Enclosure Eliminates Temperature Effects on Capillary and Transmitter:
  • Maintain capillary at 50°C ±1°C
  • Choose capillary diameter for fastest response
  • Choose diaphragm size for fastest response
  • Choose fill fluid for fastest response
