Tank Isolation

At a terminal facility, the presence of storage tanks require a network of piping connections to control fluid flow around the tank farm. Correct valve selection is important to isolate fluid product inside the tank to as part of normal operations. These tank isolation shut-off valves must provide zero-leakage capability to prevent any harm to workers and the environment.

Sterling's tank isolation solution offers many options for control with our engineered electric actuator package, providing EIM electric actuator packages on either our Zwick triple offset butterfly valve for a compact quarter turn solution or on our linear Orion compact expanding wedge gate suitable for double block and bleed. Our automated valve package is designed specifically for your process to minimize downtime and provide a safe and reliable system in accordance with API2350 regulations for tank overfill protection requirements.
