8am to 4:30pm / 4.5 Days

The first two days of this 4.5 day course will cover sliding stem and rotary valves and actuators. Topics will include valve and actuator setup, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting. The balance will be focused on the installation and calibration of the DVC 2000 and 6000 series digital valve controllers using the 275/375 handheld communicator. An overview of AMS ValveLink Software will be included.

Students spend 50% of their time in hands-on workshops. Students who complete this course will be able to:

  • Correctly perform installation procedures
  • Perform basic troubleshooting
  • Change valve trim, gaskets and packing
  • Install and mount a digital valve controller onto a sliding stem actuator/valve and rotary actuator/valve
