Description
We have an Inside Sales position available with Direct Controls in Edmonton. This role will report to the Application Engineering Manager. We will be recruiting internally and externally for this role.

The following are more specific roles and responsibilities:

Interfacing with existing and new customer applications, typically with telephone support to provide products and solutions for Instrument and Electrical Contractors and Supply Stores

Excellence in customer service

Providing troubleshooting expertise of control equipment and instrumentation or referring to appropriate internal expertise

Ensuring maintenance/servicing of existing company products and proposing replacement or alternates
-
Being knowledgeable and providing support for Direct Controls' initiatives
-
Proactively communicating customer concerns or opportunities to Direct outside sales and management
-
Product selection and order entry
Qualifications and Skills
-
Instrumentation Technologist or a Journeyman Certificate would be preferred
-
Some Emerson and/or other Spartan product knowledge would be an asset
-
Entrepreneurial work ethic
-
High organizational abilities
-
Proven customer service skills and excellent communicator
-
Multi tasking
-
Ability to work well in a fast paced and small team environment
-
2 – 5 years related experience would be an asset
