Description
Our Systems Services group is currently recruiting for a Control Systems Specialist based out of our Edmonton Office. The selected candidate will be tasked with supporting DeltaV systems in the Spartan Controls territory. Support includes DeltaV hardware/network support as well as control system configuration and graphics Products.
Role and Responsibilities
- DeltaV Systems Support
- Interfacing with internal and external customers
- Participating in our 7/24 rotation
- Travel or extended shift work in the Fort McMurray area
Qualifications and Skills
- Journeyman Instrument Certificate, Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma, or Chemical Engineering Degree would be considered
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
- Strong problem solving ability
- Extensive customer service practices
- Comprehensive computer hardware/software background
The training provided for this opportunity will consist of extensive formal training, on site mentoring, and partnering with other Control Systems Specialists. The selected candidate must have a valid driver’s license in good standing, and be willing to travel frequently.
