Control Panel Technician - 6-month Term (Calgary)

Description
We have openings for Technicians (control panel assembly) at our Calgary location. This is a temporary position (initially for 6 months, with possible extension), reporting to the Manager, Spartech Manufacturing division.
Role and Responsibilities
- Producing customized control panels in accordance with customer blueprints/drawings:
- Panel layout and installation
- Mount and wire electrical components
- Install pneumatic devices complete with SST tubing
- Red-line fabrication drawings
- Quality in compliance with CSA Standards
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma
- Technical School Diploma an asset
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic use of hand tools skills (drilling, tapping and wiring)
- Ability to ready electrical/pneumatic blueprints/drawings an asset
- Basic wiring and/or tubing skills an asset
- Customer service oriented
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ethic
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Physical requirements: capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.; standing for long periods
