Description
We are recruiting for a .Net/C# Application developer on our I.S. Team, Calgary. This position will report to the Manager of Information Services and work on the application development team. The successful candidate will use their knowledge to develop and support internal business applications.
Role and Responsibilities
- Development on Internal Business Applications
- Support & Develop:
- B2B solutions for Sales, Purchasing & Accounting.
- Accounting system integration.
- Manufacturing shop floor and Project management applications
Qualifications and Skills
- Preference will be given to candidate with .NET & C# experience.
- Prior experience with VB would be an advantage.
- 5+ years hands-on experience as a business application developer.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft application development environment including Visual Studio.
- Solid knowledge of XML
- Experience with B2B applications an asset.
- Experience with Oracle would be an asset.
- Familiar with ITIL an asset
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Effective management of priorities and multiple deadlines
- Highly motivated and innovative
- Able to work in a team or individually as required.
- Problem solver who is detail-oriented
- Strong team player
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
