Fail in Last Position

When an electric actuator is classified as “Fail Last”, it means that it will secure the valve in its current position on loss of power. The actuator must make use of either self-locking gears or a braking mechanism to prevent the valve from moving.

Sterling Valve & Automation has a broad offering of fail-last electric actuators to support all types of process control requirements.
