Fisher Controls DesuperheaterThe Fisher DMA/AF-HTC insertion type desuperheater is designed for accurate temperature control and easy maintenance (removable and replaceable nozzles) for steam desuperheating applications in the power and process industries. 

Structurally the DMA/AF-HTC is uniquely designed for the more severe applications where high thermal cycling and high steam velocities resulting in flow induced vibration may be encountered.

The DMA/AF-HTC incorporates the AF variable nozzle geometry which is back-pressure activated and allows one to multiple nozzles to be utilized depending on steam conditions and water demand. The nozzles are designed to give enhanced spray patterns to optimize mixing and allow for quick vaporization/evaporation for reduction of superheat in the steam flow.
